A short form smart note
A platform stack is the number and organization of apps or digital spaces required to get your work done. The amount of platforms and software that we use daily, both for personal and work life, is increasing. For example, a writer at a software company might use Outlook for Email, Slack for collaboration, Trello for project management, and Adobe to design visuals. But we often add unecessary platforms to the workflow, like Facebook or Twitter. Creating awareness of your platform stack will help you control the stack, instead of the stack controlling you.
